Hi Colleen, just wanted drop you a line to say we are really happy with the repair Bruce did for us this morning, it came out so much better than expected.
(The job was a 2-3 cm long cut in their vinyl reception desk repaired on site by Bruce Bryant.)
I will definitely keep your details on file as we most certainly will be using you again should the need arise.

Mechanical, Webbing, Framing & Structure Repairs include
Click on chair icon to view photos of above.
- Broken Armrest Veneer - Insurance job for customer who was redecorating her house. Bulky rolls of carpet had been left on her new bicast leather lounge suite. The foam needed replacement and the structure of the arms needed replacement and repairing.
- Lazyboy Recliner Mechnaism - the footrest would not go back in. Adjustments were necessary to the mechnism. Occasionally they do need replacing and we can source these easily. The furniture stores quite often get us to fix these.
- In need of more than a nail or two? Unfortunately some of the recently imported cheaper furniture is not made to last or indeed for people who weigh over 65 kilos. Please check your guarantees on these new items as if anyone in your home is over this weight, the warranty will often not be honoured because of it. The warranty companies and furniture stores know that Upholstery Fit Outs can repair these faults for them.
- Cracked Framing at Joined Beams. Again imported furniture is often found with different woods - when MAF researched imported furniture in 2009 they found 65 different types of wood found. Often the framing is what we in New Zealand would use for packing cases or pallets, We often need to strengthen the framing and replace the nails with screws so that they do not come away easily.
